FDM 2025 Date: APRIL 11TH
Fordham Dance Marathon (FDM) is a year-long, campus-wide effort to help end pediatric cancer and bring joy to the lives of B+ Heroes and their families all while raising funds and awareness for childhood cancer.
why we dance
Every school day, 46 children are diagnosed with pediatric cancer.
Less than 4% of federal cancer research funding is dedicated to childhood cancer research.
49 children will die this week from cancer.
We dance so these numbers change!
Fordham Dance Marathon raises awareness for The Andrew McDonough B+ ("Be Positive") Foundation, an organization of kids helping kids fight cancer. The B+ Foundation builds a community of emotional support for B+ Heroes and their families. The organization funds childhood cancer research initiatives to help find a cure. In 2022, The B+ Foundation named a research grant in Fordham's honor! Fordham has raised $928,863 for The B+ Foundation over the last 11 years.
As we venture into our 12th year, we have set our goals high to make a difference in the lives of our B+ Heroes and all children and families affected by pediatric cancer.
WE DANCE SO KIDS CAN JUST BE KIDS
